This is the first post on my new blog, where I’m going to tie together all of the social media, gaming, and put lots of my historical photos, and thoughts out of my head, sort of as a backup to keeping them on the various drives ive got around my office. After losing a lot of historical drives, photos and personal items that meant a lot to me a few years ago, and now turning 50, ive realised that there are probably less days ahead of me than behind so i wanna blog a lot more about the awesome times that ive had and am going to have moving forward in the years to come.
I realise ive lost touch with so many friends in my life as ive moved aroiund, and i want to remedy that a little and enjoy great times where possible doing things that i love.
My move back home to Chester is part of that. I love our new place. Sam and I have still boxes to unpack, but we are planning a moving in party coming soon (details to come) . Im back gaming again, and this week Starfied, a sci-fi game that i truly have been desperate to play for a few years now, finally came out on preview play and launches officially tomorrow on the 6th September.
Bethesda Games Studiio have made a couple of amazing RPG (Role Playing Games) computer titles, and you may have head of Oblivion and Skyrim as computer games, Those 2 games were set in a Fantasy world, which if you know me, isnt my genre of game and im much more of a sci-fi nerd. I love Star Trek, I love Star Wars, I love Bablyon 5 (and I must write a review of the latest B5 release) so Starfield is totally my type of story driven adventure, and I’ll be streaming my adventures playing it over on Twitch.TV.
You can check out my first two hours playing the game here : BrianERoscoe – Twitch and my streaming kit is now setup both in the lounge and the office, so Ill try and stream more gaming stuff as I go, including the co-op games that I play with Sam, and because you can see us on cam, you’ll probably also hear the interactions and arguments we have too!
That’s the other reason for the new blog (using a logo I originally created on my Amiga 1200 over 20 years ago!) to bring together links to places where I put things on the internet. I will link my Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Twitch accounts up in the main menu system at some point very soon. As a result, i’m sure that Roperto and Baby Roperto will push me to put more content up on here too soon.
